This is a furiously paced novella entirely devoid of dialogue, and probably could be finished in less than two hours-if that.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. The language is nice, the characters are given enough in their brief backstories to make them interesting, and the action hurtles along like the train it takes place on, keeping the reader invested enough to carry through to the end.
I’d recommend it. The climax is cinematic in a very interesting way, containing beautiful language but carrying a sort of thriller sensibility.
