The Tragedy of Felix and Jake by J. Daniels

5.0

I’m crying.

When I read the sample, I immediately knew I had to get this. I’ve never struggled with addiction, but I’ve seen those that have, and I imagine these are the thoughts that go through their head.

This was a raw story, full of anger, pain, and fear, but also full of love and understanding. I adored Felix and Jake. Watching their story come together was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

I loved, loved, loved Hector and Miguel. They were adorable. Riley stole a piece of my heart too with how understanding and caring she was (especially after what she went through.)

Addiction is such a scary thing, and something a lot of people don’t understand. It’s hard to understand when you don’t go through it yourself.

I loved this, so much. This will definitely be staying with me for a long time.
