Honestly, I don’t want to say anything even remotely spoiler-y about the plot, so I’ll keep it VERY general. Obviously 5 stars for me because SJM has me in a CHOKEHOLD. I love the way she has paced ALL of her CC books, and this one stayed true to form. Sorry to break it to you, “POV switcharoo” haters. I think it keeps the plot moving fast, never dwelling on one issue, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I think she switches POVs at great times to give good little mini-cliffhangers. 😂 For me, it’s *chef’s kiss.* For people who wish for LESS switching, I encourage you to think of an 800+ page book with SLOWER pacing and consider for a second that maybe Miss Sarah did what she had to do.
If you love Nesta as much as I do (Long Live the QUEEN), I bet you will enjoy this book. The Nesta girlies were SAT. That’s literally all I’m going to say character-wise because for me, that was great and enough and a high point, and again, I don’t want to spoil anything.
I feel like I can’t say anything else without little micro spoilers, so that’s all she wrote!
