I like to listen to audio books when I'm at the gym--it makes me forget about the clock. And so I grabbed this one and was pleasantly surprised to find a heroine that was funny, super smart, and could take on both the French and the British who were after her. While the ending dragged --just a teeny tiny tad-- I loved the resolution between the MCs and how the heroine's story in particular was resolved. It could have been written in a very predictable, trope filled way but instead the author gives a whole bunch of plot twists that had be on the edge of my seat. Also--this narrator was absolutely excellent and the way she voiced the main character was awesome!
