The only thing worse than the Devil is his son and Cruz Martinez was the spitting image of his father but at the same time he became his own version of El Diablo.
One look was all it took for Cruz to feel a connection with Sienna. One moment was all it took for Cruz to understand his father on a level he never imagined. Sienna was fiery and had no qualms about telling Cruz exactly what was on her mind which made her perfect for him. The connection between Sienna and Cruz and the moment they met was kismet she became his light when the world around his turned dark.
I went into this book already loving Lexi and Martinez and so of course their children had a secure place in my heart and from the very beginning M. Robinson proved her status as the “Queen of Angst” tears were shed very early on and that was the point I knew this was going to be one of those books that hurts, hurts more but also heals, you love every minute of it but when it ends you are left with a massive book hangover.
This book was next level angst my heart was obliterated, pieces of my soul will remain on the pages for a lifetime this didn’t just hit me in the feels it broke me. Then these characters and this fast paced action and emotionally engaging storyline breathed life back into my feels along with my heart.
