I felt so let down by this book. I’m not quite sure how I was bored and grossly uncomfortable at the same time.
There are some hugely triggering aspects in this book ( including rape, sexual assault (including of a teenager), domestic violence, pregnancy (including unwanted), pregnancy loss, miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, physical abuse and suicidal ideation) but absolutely no mention of them prior to reading.
The pretty cover dragged me in but this book is wildly depressing and uncomfortable.
