trigger warning 1 million - i knew this book would be triggering but wasn’t quite prepared for how intense it would be, DO NOT read this if you’re recovering or struggling 

this is the most haunting, accurate and raw depiction of eating disorders i have ever read. the author really couldn’t have done this representation any better, this was far from the glamorisation we see on social media, this book showed the sad, horrible, heart-wrenching and frankly disgusting parts of this evil mental illness.  although it was a very heavy read, i think anyone who wants to understand eating disorders better would benefit from this
