This book pulled me in and made me not want to put it down. However, it ended very abruptly with many questions left unanswered and plot points left unfinished. It is almost as if there was meant to be a second book that was never written. It's been almost ten years since this book came out. So, I don't hold much hope for a sequel. Maybe the prequel will hold the answers I seek.
