The premise of this series is so promising. I just can’t get in to it. The writing style just isn’t for me. The dialogue feels forced, there are too many characters to keep up with, and this particular book leaned a little too much on the “power of friendship” trope for my liking. Erik is the only character I was truly interested in. 
I’m not going to continue this series.
