Minor: Sexual assault and Car accident
This is mentioned nowhere in the book's description, but it's revealed about halfway through that the man sadie is hunting is not just an murderer but also a pedophile . From this point on, there are repeated references to the times he raped her, his other victims, and the victims of another pedophile . None of these moments are explicit as they never show the actual act(s) , but they are still disturbing and once they start, they are regular and act as central plot points, making them unskippable. When she eventually confronts him, it is implied that he managed to kill her and hide her body before he died from his wounds, leaving her to never be found .
