Betrayal by Fiona McIntosh

2.0

I was a bit disappointed in this book. Too much violence, and there's no real need for it, except to make a good story long enough for three books, which kinda messes up the story. So badly, that I don't think I'll read the next two books. I sought the summary of each and was happy with that, since I didn't want to read any more gruesome violence that's just for the sake of having violence. It doesn't really build the story (we already have SO much going on, that there's no need to have MORE, and it actually distracts you from the Paladin or Torkin, and that's not good.)
Other books from her have been better, so I'll stick to those.
