I'd downloaded this book ages ago and it got buried in my Kindle. When I stumbled across it I hadn't realized it was a follow up to a book I had loved. When reading about Derek and Ginger I fell in love with Willa's character and was thrilled when I figured out this was THAT Willa. I loved everything about this book. The struggle Willa was dealing with completely made sense to me. You can't start out with that sort of background without it having a fairly significant impact on you. And Shane. I loved Shane. He was damaged but in no way beyond repair. They were a great couple and this story, while a little angsty, still felt light (in a good way) to me. It was funny and heartfelt at the same time.
I just wish the epilogue would have taken place a little further into the future.
