If I wasn’t reading a free ebook copy in exchange for a review, I wouldn’t have made it past the first few pages. That being said, now that I’ve finished the book, I might consider reading the rest of the series, if only because I’m rooting for the other guy and I want to be around when someone knocks Takasago down a few notches. He’s just so controlling! As the story goes on Suehiro takes a bit more control of things, but it always feels like Takasago is the one who actually gets to make all the decisions. It doesn’t feel like a healthy relationship. The art is beautiful and I like the plot, but I don’t appreciate this girl falling in love with such a pushy, annoying person.
