The first entry in this series was pretty creative and fun, but this one had fewer engaging characters and the "mothman" love interest vacillated between various traits as if the author couldn't decide, so he ended up being kind of a non-entity. The main character's friends were mostly mean and it was hard for me to understand why she spent time with them. She also seemed to hate her job while claiming she loved it, which was confusing.

The concept of the outgoing human drawing the shy mothman out of his shell was cute, but not enough to save the story for me.

I don't mind insects, but I don't love them. I think the fact that the love interest was part moth also contributed to my distaste for this story.
