This was a unique take on a classic lumberjack romance, but honestly nothing WOWd me. I like both main characters and their story, but there was too much going on in the background. I know some of the family building was necessary for future books but I really didn’t like Adele and none of the brothers (besides Gus) stood out as anything interesting.

I will be curious to see how I like the rest of the series!
