I really liked this! I enjoyed how the constraints of already knowing the plot made it a more relaxed and character driven book, really fleshing out the love between the two of them and how loving Bella made Edward a more contemplative and well rounded person. Also enjoyed how it shifted into a more plot based book for the climax since it wasn’t portrayed in nearly as much detail in twilight. It had been awhile since I had read the twilight books and I thought it was fun to have it wrap up in the first book, even though Alice’s initial vision doesn’t come true until the fourth.  I found it to be an interesting way to remind you that you already know the story? Like otherwise it seems like kind of a weird, melancholic ending.
