Take Me on by Katie McGarry
5.0

I was worried. I didn't like Dare you to as much as I loved Pushing the Limits and I skipped Isaiah's story, because I never liked him. But all the people who feel like me can relax, it's as strong as Pushing the Limits. But it took me a while to arrive to that conclusion.

In this book, not only the main characters have baggage, but all the characters. And that's usually quite dangerous, because most of the time those extra pieces of baggage are gratuitous. Thankfully, not this time.

This is a beautifully round story.

There was only one thing that bothered me: some of those scenes where the characters so to speak appraise each other seemed like the ones you find in adult erotic books, where nothing's as important as finally getting to the point.

It was strange and stupid, because Katie McGarry is a good writer, if she could write all other parts of the book in an original way, why couldn't she write these or why did she switch to panels of a different genre?

Anyway, it's 5-star.
