A thoughtful memoir, full of dry humor, and reflection of what it's like to lose a parent at a young age. He talks about many of the things no one else seems to talk about, or want to talk about. How the grief is such a different and lengthy process for someone so young. How in some ways he is still processing it. The setting of the memoir is also fascinating, as he grew up in Northern Ireland during "the troubles."
Moderate: Death of parent
Minor: Religious bigotry
