This was cute! I haven't read a young adult romance that was out of this world, so I'm not surprised that I didn't LOVE this. I originally picked this up because everyone and their mother has been talking about Wes Bennett. I have to agree with BookTok on this one - Wes Bennett is def book bf material. The other characters were okay haha...
You can definitely tell this book was written in the last ~2 years. "Bet" and "I was shook" are not in my vocabulary, but having a younger brother means I hear teenage slang all the time. I appreciate that the author created a more realistic teenage romance novel, but it just wasn't for me ahahha
There was just something about this book that I didn't love. It was missing an oomph.
