2nd book in the series - go back and read the 1st or you will have no idea what is going on.  I greatly appreciate the fact that the author put a brief summary of what happened in the 1st book in case you forgot.  In this book up have the continuing story of Livira and Evar.  There is still alot of time travel occurring via the portals and the Exchange.  2 new characters are introduced and are used to explain something that happened in the first book.  The story is just ok for me and most likely I won't finish the series.
