Book two in the series follows Beckett, the quiet resident farmer at Lovelight, and Evelyn the instaceleb who we met in book 1.
I really enjoyed Beckett and Evelyn's story more, as they were more dynamic and complex characters than Stella and Luka- they each had more at stake and other responsibilities beyond their relationship with each other.
I enjoyed that the characters were so attuned to each others' needs and were able to show consideration and understanding to each other.
BK Borison's romances are great not because of the big love declarations but because of the small acts of love that the characters show each other all the time- be it amongst friends and family or the main love interests.
