As a Book, I didn't enjoy the, to me, ridiculous set up of so many chapters. I listened to the audio book and found the declation of a new chapter after less than a minute a tad jarring. I also, again for me, didn't need quite so much detail on the military aspects. But I'm sure for others it was interesting.
What strikes me more than anything is the author's inability to see any personal fault in situations. And beyond that, the almost savior like view of self is off-putting to me. He (and his wife) do no wrong in his eyes.
Regarding his hatred for the press. They wouldn't do what they do if people weren't buying it. The true fault is in the consumers. I do believe that the medias tactics are repugnant and should stop.
I'm glad I read the book. I hope he finds the life he thinks he's looking for.
