We love detailed writing bursting with imagery but great Odin’s ghost did this become painstaking. Eventually it turned from vivid imagery, to a painstakingly accurate account of what turmoil my scene / emo kid years felt like before therapy and antidepressants. Honestly the movie is a pretty great cliffsnotes version without all the lingering woe.
