East German woman has a gay awakening and it makes her lose the plot completely (in that heteronormativity and a semblance of a normal family life was the last bit of stability she had, after the intense impact of the regime change on her life).
She also believes experiencing homoerotic attraction is a worse character flaw than lettingher own daughter and other students get bullied without using her power to intervene 😗✌️
Not my favorite style of writing OR storyline ever but interesting to look at through the lens of east german identities. (I read this for summer academy)
Also cool illustrations!
