Like the rest of Bromberg's work that I've read, I did enjoy this. It was a little different than the rest of her work in that the POV character is male (Rylee's brother, from Driven) and it's mostly set in the Middle East, since he is a foreign war correspondent. I couldn't get into it as much as the Driven series, or even the other two stand-alones in the series, but it was well-written and interesting. I really like seeing how she grows as an author and her writing matures and will, of course, continue to read other books she puts out. I'm giving it 3 stars simply because it didn't draw me in as much as other books. But, still recommended!
