2010- This one has held up better for me than any of the previous books, the constant hymn-singing notwithstanding. There's drama, suspense, and ultimately triumph. I remembered a lot of this book but perhaps the most vivid detail in my childhood memories of it was Laura's description of the frosty nails poking through the roof of her bedroom.
