The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

4.0

Very reminiscent of Six of Crows, which is a favorite of mine. This book did not disappoint. I loved the characters and the elements of the world. However, the characters are very intelligent and their banter could be hard to follow for someone who doesn’t understand historical or mathematical references. Also, the novel relies heavily on different mythologies. If you are not familiar with these mythologies, you may have to do some research while reading. My only real issue with the novel is that the ending seemed awkward. I hope it is remedied in the next novel.
