Menopause Is Hot: Everything You Need to Know to Thrive by Alice Smellie, Mariella Frostrup
3.0
If this is the first book you read, having just heard about menopause, you'll think it's great. But having read other stuff about menopause, this book is tedious. So many words. Words and words and words, just for the sake of writing them. There is no new info in this book that you can't get from Jen Gunter or Mary Claire Haver, but there are tons of pointless anecdotes and discussions of treatment options without any actual data on effectiveness. By the time I got to the heading "Tending Your Lady Garden" in the chapter about sex I was just done with this egotistical overblown snoozer.
