"The Outsiders" is one of my favorite books, and I loved the elements in this that reminded me of that, but it didn't feel as much like a complete story as "The Outsiders" does. It seems to stay on the surface of the story in a lot of ways and doesn't really get as involved as I wanted the story to get. I enjoyed it, and really like the writing style, I just wanted more story and development. Part of what I love about "The Outsiders" is the characters, and I just didn't feel as involved in them here. Overall, though, I think it's an enjoyable read and worth the short time it takes to do so.
