Wake: The Hidden History of Women-Led Slave Revolts by Rebecca Hall was really interesting. I thought it was going to have more about the slave revolts but I like how she included information about her research. As someone with the degree in history, I really enjoyed how she explained her research process and the difficulties she faced. I also like how she made the book a graphic novel. I think it fit really well with the information she was trying to relay.
