I Am Malala: How One Girl Got Up For Education and Changed the World - Young Reader's Edition by Malala Yousafzai

4.0

"They can not kill my beliefs."

I listened to this on Audio. And even though this was the younger readers edition on audio, which I guess just meant a lot of the background on religion, politics, etc. was taken, I don't feel like I missed anything on her story. I can always do my own research on the history of the religion and politics in her country.

She stands up for education for all, but especially for women's education. And the Tailban tried to murder her and her father for it. She survived to tell her story and I applaud her for being brave and bold enough to stand up for what she believes in, especially in a country that may not value education for all.
