Everything that was enjoyable about the novel is lost with the kids' unnecessary sex scene. Terrible disrespect to women, and what is worst, to little girls. It also feels plain stupid and uninspired when you least expected it, turning out to be a huge letdown. Severely infuriating moment. Tacky. Irredeemable.
