The Adventures of Isabel by Candas Jane Dorsey

Did not finish book.
I tried to like this, especially as I wanted to enjoy a mystery with an LGBT cast, but the humor fell utterly flat for me and I really didn't enjoy the crudeness of the jokes (e.g. using transphobic terminology to describe a cis woman, on multiple occasions). Some cute, quirky noir-style writing but it's undermined by the tonal issues and strange cruelty of the prose.
