Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman
This whole book felt like a zany fever dream, but it was truly entertaining. The (not so subtle) commentary on humanity, religion, good and evil, and society is so good.
This took me a little bit longer to read than usual because I needed to take breaks often after saying, “what the heck is happening?” But then I was able to really soak in more of the commentary and get my bearings again. The witty, dry humor is fun and I can definitely see why this is considered a cult classic!
