Aristotle and Dante Dive Into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

4.0

I hesitated for quite a while before reading this book, since the first book is very dear to me. But I'm glad I did end up reading the sequel. It doesn't have quite the same charm as the first book but it was nice to see Ari grow and learn to accept himself. I also felt like this book focused more on Ari than Dante. Which is also good of course but not what I expected, so that disappointed me a bit. Some parts did drag on for a bit too long and felt a bit boring but besides that it was nice to read about these boys again :)
