DC Comics: Bombshells, Vol. 1: Enlisted by Marguerite Bennett

4.0

I bought Bombshells volume 1 sight unseen, and this book is a good reason not to do that in the future. Some of the art is excellent, including the covers and the art by the penciller named on the book cover, Marguerite Sauvage. She drew only the first issue and maybe a few subsequent pages. The rest of the art is hit-or-miss.

The story is also hit-or-miss. It's all setups and no conclusion. Surprisingly, knowing my usual tastes, the most fun parts are the ones with Harley Quinn. I also liked the Batwoman sections.
