“We get used to things too easily. You think something’s tasty the first time you eat it, but then you start taking it for granted. Never forget your first impressions.”

This book definitely gives me ‘Before The Coffee Gets Cold’ vibes. I love the unique storyline about reminiscing a memory through food. I love how the chef takes the detective food job seriously and goes on a journey to find the ingredients. I just wish this journey could have its own scene so I can feel more attached to the customer’s story and how important these are to them.

Reading this book also makes me hungry. The way the author describes the food is so detailed and delicate.

The cat (Drowsy) is such a cherry on top, that I need s/he to appear more in the second book!!
