Incredibly frustrated from the person giving this a low rating because they (not confusing at all huh?) were confused by the they/them pronouns. That is NOT why this book flopped for me. I greatly appreciated the representation for a few communities however I just didn't love the two main characters. Felt surface level even during "deep" discussion topics. And I hate to be judgemental on this but the FMC's voice acting put me off alot between the shifts and pushed high pitch. Same goes for the MMC's voice that pushed low. Which I imagine was purposeful to feel dif from the first MMC since it was the same actor but it all just felt annoying rather than hot 🤷
