The books started out kind of slow for me but built up to a good ending with a family unit that you will end up loving and rooting for.

Abigail had a terrible rumor spread about her in high school which lead to get being pro active sex live in women, but also with her mother worried about her never settling down. So she made a pact with her playboy best friend that they would fake it for their families and end up growing old together. She would never have to worry about being anything serious or having to deal with her lack of maternal instincts. It was prefect. Until a pipe burst in her house and she ended up crashing at said best friend (Will) house on the same day that he found out he had a son who his mother dropped off with him and left. He also was working on expanding his small bar into a brewery and signed up for a huge promotional event that would require a lot of work. Does Will have too much on his plate right now? Can he be the best father to this baby since his father left him as a child leaving him traumatized? Will they both be able to keep their relationship strictly friends when they both can feel a sexual tension and have hidden feelings? What will happen when they decide to stick it out for the baby and work around their crazy lives? Or and did I forget to mention that of course her trauma from the past and his playboy ways might come knocking at just the “right” time.
