I was worried this wouldn’t be very good due to such mixed reviews, but after reading a sorcery of thorns, I wanted to try more of Rogerson’s works. I loved this so much, I finished over half in one sitting. After just reading Holly Black’s elfhame books, another standalone fae book was right up my alley. This was a well paced story with many little twists and turns and lovable characters!
