The Beginning by K.A. Applegate
4.0
In hindsight, this book is more of an epilogue than a finale.
Probably it's best to read both in immediate succession, as the previous book had much more going on, action-wise (though this book has its moments as well).
A good final note in the series.
Even if it ends on a cliffhanger that I would've loved to see picked back up at some point.
At some point I'll probably end up rereading/finishing Remnants but I think I'll take some time away from Applegate for now. I've got plenty of books to read, especially new ones.
Still, this was, as always, quite a ride. If I somehow miss news about Animorphs magically coming back to life, someone better tell me.
