4.5

The amount this story improved just by adding Ronan's POV is actually outrageous. And of course by adding Kavinsky as a character! (
will be interesting to see how the story holds up without him in the next book...
) I did also like the development of Blue/Adam/Gansey more as I felt it learnt some nuance what with Adam's anger/daddy issues, although I still don't think it's very interesting  (a pre-destined love story is always kinda boring tbh, I mean you know what's going to happen!!) And the bad (?) guy - Mr. Gray - felt a lot more fleshed out and interesting than the one from the previous book, so that was nice. The audio book narration was also great, really excellent voice acting and never let's you forget we're in southern america lol). Hope to see more of a deep dive into adam's character growth in the next book though as I felt his arc was a bit glossed over in this one. Overall a very fun read and I'm glad I stuck with the series after hating the first installment so much lol.
