WOW. JUST WOW. What the hell did i just read (in an amazingly crazy good way). Andrew, Thomas, Dove. The monsters! This book is so haunting, so sad, tragic. It’s a heavy book honestly filled with death, trauma and grief. The confusion was there at first. What the hell is going on? Why is Dove so cold to her twin? Why is she avoiding Thomas and Andrew, her friends? Why does everyone hate Thomas? What the hell is going on in that boating school. Then the monsters. The angst and love between Thomas and Andrew. The want and not in a sexual way (this is YA). But the want to belong to someone even if you know it’ll destroy you because they’re broken and you are too. The melancholy and feelings are heavy! And that plot twist!? The chapter going back to explain what really happened AHH! Oh my god, it was AMAZING! So haunting! The ending as well! Wow. amazing. Super well written!
