Why We Can't Sleep: Women's New Midlife Crisis by Ada Calhoun
"Gen X girls grew up aware that we were vulnerable while being told that we were infinitely powerful" (41).
There is much in this book that I relate to, along with chapters that are foreign to my experience. If I were younger, I probably wouldn't like this book at all. As a Gen X woman, I was glad to read it yet I wanted more than commiseration from it.
