- This was definitely the better book in the Johnny/Shannon duology. Excited for the rest of the series!! Johnny is such a sweetheart, god - the man that he is !!!
- The found family aspect is adorable - The Kavanagh family is everything 🥰 God, I wish I had parents like John & Edel...
- Gibsie is my favourite, I'm so excited for his book!!!
- I hate Lizzie - I get that she has some trauma that will most likely be revealed in her own book but her actions are not justified to me - I mean christ -
she pushed Gibs into water knowing that he had a fear, I feel so bad for Gibs, he has my whole heart & Lizzie has to be a bitch to him! I'm glad he calls her a viper because that's exactly what she is - I also feel for Joey - I can relate to him - older sibling who has to take on the responsibility of parenting a sibling as well as parenting your parents. On a personal level, I understand his actions & I sympathize with him (although I have no experience with addiction), the pressure that Joey has I understand & I hope he gets a happy ending - though I fear his book is going to destroy me... 😥
