The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

4.0

This book wowed me at first, then started to disappoint me, then brought it all back. I did unfortunately have to deduct a couple of points for that little bit of disappointment, but overall a great read.
Rowan in my opinion is a lot of what I look for in a hero. He is closed off just enough, but willing to only open up to the girl he is falling for. And he's a little dominant in bed. However, I found that some of the time he was being unnecessarily aggressive out of nowhere, and that was what I didn't really appreciate.
I also liked Zahra, however I did find her almost a little too quirky at times and too perfect. I like my female characters to have flaws too, and Zahra didn't really have any. However, I did find her stupid at some points and it made me roll my eyes.
I also overall found the book very predictable, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I guessed a lot of the stuff that happened later in the book at the very beginning. However, I'm the type of person that likes seeing my theories come true, so it wasn't exactly a negative for me.
I will also say that I stan Martha and I can't wait for the next book cause I'm already in love with the couple from the few interactions they had in this book.
