When I was describing this story to my sister, I told her it was Twilight meets Harry Potter meets Stomp the Yard or some other HBCU movie lol. Though this book could have been written better (I caught a couple of typos and grammatical errors). I still enjoyed the book and can't believe it left off with a cliff hanger like that. This was my first read on my e-reader and me getting back into reading digital books. This was a good book for me to start with. Looking forward to starting the second book once I finish (or try to finish) a physical book.
