This was a fantastic Elven portal fantasy. Ember is more than what she realizes when she is taken to see the feared King Hadeon who seems to have a extreme dislike for her all though she has no memory of doing anything to him. This adventure follows this FMC into and new but also old life where is must once again save the people she cares for but what will be the cost this time. The last time is cost her everything. This book contains a grumpy MMC but who may just be a marshmallow underneath. This story had some great friendships, family and most of all an all conquering love.
