This was the next official one in my Stephen King re-read—though I had to take time out to read the new one first, and that may have been a mistake—and while this absolutely had some bangers, overall, it's not up there with NIGHT SHIFT, or DIFFERENT SEASONS, or BAZAAR OF BAD DREAMS. Some of the stories truly didn't seem to go anywhere, such as L.T.'S THEORY OF PETS. Still, for every L.T. there was a 1408.
