The Remedy by Suzanne Young

That stinky Arthur Pritchard is at it again.

I haven’t read anything after book 2 from this series until now, part because they were hard to get and the other part because the characters changed and I love me some Sloane and James. Quinlan is not as likeable as Sloane, and I straight up don’t like Deacon. He gave me weird vibes the whole time and the epilogue really showed his true colors.

I did like that it’s a pretty good lead into The Program world. Things are already pretty screwed up with using closers as temporary replacements for those who have just died (read the description, you’ll get it). I’m very interested to see how the next book lines it up even more so.
